We do sometimes run ad hoc morning, afternoon or, in the summer, evening walks. They are not always in the programme but are notified to members by email a week in advance.

Start: Bramley old station car park (GU5 0AU). A fairly flat figure of 8 walk through farmland, woodland, riverside and open
countryside close to Bramley, with minimal road walking and no stiles. Picnic lunch back at start point. Walk starts at 10.00am

10 miles figure of eight (5+5)
Start: Godalming crown court car park (free on Sundays) Nearest post code GU7 1HR. Walk through woods and by the river upstream to Eashing in the morning with one stile. In the afternoon out along the river downstream then back through Munstead heath and Busbridge. Picnic lunch near car park or café/pub in town. Toilets at start and finish. Start 10.00am morning, Afternoon at 12.30 to 1.00pm (approx.)

Lurgashall and Lickfield Circular
A 6 mile circular walk
Start: Lurgashall Village Car Park or on adjacent roads (post code GU28 9ET what3words: loyal.firework.castle). A gentle circular walk through the open pastures and woodland of this lesser-known part of West Sussex, visiting the quaint hamlet of Lickfield on the way, with a typical (and excellent) village pub by the cricket green in Lurgashall (Saxon meaning “Hall of Leotegar”) for post walk refreshment. Largely flat with 7 stiles (approx). Lunch is a picnic en route. Lurgashall is signposted off the Guildford-Petworth Road, the A283. Look for a signpost right, 1 mile south of Northchapel. Walk starts at 10.00am

Alice Holt circular
A 7 mile walk
Start: Gravel Hill Road Car Park, edge of Alice Holt Forest, Bentley, Farnham GU10 5JD/ what 3 words/downsize.fevered.tiles also accessible by train (Bentley station is only 600m from the walk start: cross the line, take the wide signposted track going southeast, turn right at a crossing path on the walk to Gravel Hill Road Car Park).Scenic largely flat walk through the beautiful Alice Holt Forest. Following wide stony tracks, narrow grassy paths, and woodland trails designed to stay relatively dry. Passing George’s Lonely Oak (named after a long-serving forester)and local villages like Bucks Horn Oak. Picnic on route or at Alice Holt Centre/toilets available here. Walk starts at 10.00am.
