Abinger Roughs To Gomshall
A 6.2 mile walk
Start from Abinger Roughs car park (near RH5 6QS) at 10 a.m. Lunch a picnic or use a pub in Gomshall. National Trust class it as fairly strenuous – one steep hill and steep descent. Woodland, farmland, grassland and open countryside with pretty Gomshall en route.

Meet at Abinger Roughs free NT car park (RH5 6QS), From Guildford on A25 turn left at the crossroads (about a mile east of Abinger Hammer) into White Down Lane and the car park is another half mile on the left. Lunch Abinger Hatch pub or recreation ground adjacent St James’s church. Walk starts 10 a,m, Circular walk around the edge of the Wotton estate via Friday Street. Meet at Waterloo Station under the clock. The walk takes us to St James’s Park, past Buckingham Palace, through Green Park and Hyde Park to the Serpentine and to Kensington Gardens / Palace.
